When 18-year-old Mike Huckfeldt of Fergus Falls, Minn., was first brought to MeritCare in the early morning hours of Tuesday, Nov. 1, 2005, his parents, Val and Mike, Fergus Falls, wanted to remain anonymous and not even acknowledge that their son was hospitalized.
