Festival of Wreaths Events Start on Thursday Nov 17

This week, over 200 community volunteers are busy putting together the finishing touches for the 21st annual Festival of Wreaths, which will take place on Thursday, Nov. 17. This year's celebration will include a home for the holidays event; shopping; a festival luncheon featuring motivational speaker Robin Silverman; a casual party with music by The Shakers; breakfast and pizza events with Santa; and an elegant, formal gala. Proceeds from this year's event will benefit MeritCare Eating Disorders Unit aftercare programs.

Kohl's is offering Peanut's collector's edition books, plush, exclusive character outfits and CDs with 100 percent of the proceeds benefiting 68 hospitals, including MeritCare Children's Hospital. The Kohl's Cares for Kids program focuses on supporting health and education opportunities for children. The products are the latest in a line of merchandise made especially for sale at Kohl's in support of children's hospitals.
