Dr. Wai Lun Chan cares for patients admitted through the emergency room or who were referred for hospitalization by another doctor. He treats patients in a hospital setting. A board-certified physician, Dr. Chan provides comprehensive care for hospitalized patients and has advanced training in critical illness management.
As a hospitalist in the Bemidji area, Dr. Chan is dedicated to helping hospital patients whenever they may need him. Hospitalists are on duty 24/7 and available within a moment’s notice during your hospitalization. They will work with your primary care doctor and with specialists to ensure you receive high-quality care. This collaboration ensures you'll receive consistent care while you’re in the hospital and after your discharge.
