Idea of Care

I believe that patient safety should be my number one priority as an anesthesiologist. Many patients feel vulnerable and anxious in the preoperative period. Allaying this anxiety and gaining the patient's and family's trust and confidence in a short period of time are very important. The anesthesiologist needs to convey to the patient and family that they will be cared for with competence and compassion while they undergo their operative procedure. I try to reassure my patients that their safety and comfort are foremost in my mind.

Personal Interests

Dr. Berndt is married and has two children. In his spare time, he enjoys family activities, physical fitness, dining out, water sports, and golf.
