I learned that there is more to health care than having clinical knowledge, following logarithms and charting. We are caring for people when they are most vulnerable. Respecting this vulnerability is important, as well as always placing the patient’s needs above all else. I have witnessed extraordinary individuals go above and beyond for their patient and these acts inspire me time and again. It is important that I continue to strive to be an advocate for my patients and to provide the care I would want my loved ones to receive.
I have been married to my husband for almost 6 years. We do not have any children yet, but will be getting a yellow lab puppy in the fall. My parents live in Southern, MN and both work in the medical field. I have one younger brother who lives in Fargo, ND where he attends NDSU. My other younger brother lives with his wife and daughter in St. Cloud, MN.
I enjoy spending time with family, reading, snowboarding and just relaxing outside.
