A Physician Assistant in Orthopedic Trauma
In coordination with supervising physician, Michele Hansen is a specialist in family medicine and emergency orthopedic trauma.
The services she provides include:
- Obtaining a patient's medical history
- Performing physical exams
- Ordering, performing and interpreting lab and diagnostic tests
- Prescribing medications
- Applying and removing casts/splints and sutures
- Performing arthrocentesis
- Operating room assistance
She also serves as a senior physician assistant for the Iowa National Guard.
