Heather Casper-McLay, CNP, received her undergraduate nursing degree from South Dakota State University in Brookings, SD in 2002. She worked as an RN at the Mayo Clinic, Rochester for five years before returning to the Sioux Falls area. She completed her Master’s in Nursing Education at Walden University in Minneapolis, MN in 2007. She then worked at Sanford Health as both a Nurse Educator and as the Director of the Sanford Simulation Center. She completed her Post Master’s Adult Nurse Practitioner Certificate in 2014 at Clarkson College in Omaha, NE.
Heather Casper-McLay, CNP, and her husband, Doug, are both from the Sioux Falls area. They have two boys who keep them busy with various activities throughout the year. In her spare time, Heather enjoys reading, baking, being outdoors, and spending time with friends and family.
