Experience & Research

Dr. Guerrero was a recipient of a one-year training grant on antimicrobial resistance. He worked extensively on translational research on the epidemiology and transmission of C. difficile. His last year of training was devoted almost entirely to research at the VA Medical Center in Cleveland, Ohio, wherein he worked closely with his mentor and co-authored several studies and presentations.

I draw upon evidence-based medicine and incorporate this knowledge in my practice. I impart this information to my patients as I am a firm believer that adequate patient education is key to management and future prevention.

Personal Interests

Dr. Guerrero is married and has three children who keep him entertained and preoccupied when he isn’t at work. Dr. Guerrero values time with family, both in and out of the home. His favorite things include trips and martial arts with the family.
