A Nurse Practitioner in General and Trauma Surgery
Donna Dickey is a nurse practitioner. She assists with surgery and pre- and postoperative care.
She works with surgeons who perform abdominal surgeries such as gallbladder, appendix, intestinal, gastric and hernia surgeries, as well as providers who treat thyroid conditions.
Donna assists surgeons with a variety of services, including:
- Providing preoperative assessments
- Obtaining a patient's health history
- Performing physical exams
- Interpreting lab and diagnostic tests
- Providing health education
She also serves on the Allied Health Credentialing Committee and Advanced Practice Provider Committee.
