Dr. Maziarz received his medical degree in 1999 from the New Jersey Medical School in 1999. He completed his general surgery residency at East Carolina University and his thoracic surgery fellowship at Wake Forest University Medical Center. Dr. Maziarz is board-certified in general surgery and cardiothoracic surgery, and specializes in aortic root replacement, mitral valve repair, coronary artery bypass, robotics and minimally invasive approaches to cardiac and thoracic surgery.
Dr. Maziarz is married to a fellow physician. They have two children. In his free time, Dr. Maziarz enjoys skiing, scuba diving and hiking.
