A Counselor for Cancer Patients

Chery Hysjulien is a nurse and health psychologist who is dedicated to working with cancer patients.

Her health care career started in nursing, where she realized her passion for psychology. She pursued her degree in psychology and never lost her interest in working directly with patients. Her current role as psychologist at the cancer center allows her to help patients during a stressful time in their lives while caring for their mental, physical and spiritual components of their health.

I focus on treating the entire person – mind, body, emotions and spirit. Every person diagnosed with cancer has a different way of reacting. My goal is to understand the patient and address their unique needs through screening, skill building and integrative health techniques.

Personal Interests

Chery and her husband Randy have four grown children. In her spare time, she enjoys traveling, spending time with her family, being at her cabin and watching sports.
