The radiation oncologists at Roger Maris Cancer Center are part of the largest team of experts in the region. The entire team is board-certified and uses a multidisciplinary care model, meaning many specialists working together to develop an individualized care plan for our patients.
Our radiation oncologists help you decide which treatment path will be best for you. They lead the treatment planning process, oversee treatment delivery, monitor progress and ensure proper follow-up.
Our radiation physicists are experts in making sure each treatment follows the radiation oncologist’s treatment plan by monitoring and testing the treatment delivery parameters.
Our dosimetrists work with the radiation oncologists and physicists to develop each patient’s customized treatment plan to deliver the radiation dose.
In the radiation oncology department, this is the person you will spend the most time with as they will help prepare you for treatments and deliver the treatments.
