POSTPONED: It’s All About Science Festival 2020
Notice: We know you were looking forward to this event and thank you for your understanding that for the health and well-being of our community we need to reschedule our event. The lessons that we’re learning from the countries where COVID-19 first spread, are that social distancing and responsible event management are key to reducing the overall number of infected persons and that by slowing the spread, we will protect the resources we have to manage the infection.
Let your child uncover their inner genius at the It’s All About Science Festival 2020. Your child will discover engaging activities and experiments that are designed to inspire an interest in science, technology, engineering or math (STEM). Join Sanford Health at this free community event to promote STEM education.
The festival is open to children of all ages and abilities. There are four sections separated by grade level so your child can find age-appropriate STEM activities. The four age groups are pre-kindergarten, elementary school, middle school and high school.
It’s All About Science includes career exploration sessions for high school students. Students will meet with over 40 local industry leaders and practice real-world STEM career skills. High school students can preregister for these sessions here.
We’re still accepting vendors for the festival. Show off your STEM-side and display your industry, company, organization, profession or product. You’ll reach an estimated 4,000 children and adults. Call (605) 312-4378 to host an exhibit booth for free. Learn more about hosting an exhibit.
