LaRae believes mentorship is key in the development of student radiographers and that all clinical staff play an essential role in the outcome of our graduates.
Starting at St. Luke’s School of Radiography in 1989, LaRae has had the privilege of experiencing many changes throughout the imaging department. She worked as a general radiographer in the hospital setting for 10 years, during which she worked with students as a part-time faculty member. In 1999, she became a full-time clinical instructor. She continues to instruct didactic courses for Positioning and Image Analysis.
LaRae’s greatest satisfaction is seeing a student develop and become a confident professional. She often gets to interact with previous graduates in the departments and loves hearing about their careers and families.
