Will this financing option cause problems with my insurance?
No. This financing is a revolving line of credit designed specifically to help you pay for healthcare expenses not covered by insurance and does not affect your insurance coverage in any way.
Can I purchase hearing aids and get care right away?
Yes. Once you apply at any Sanford Hearing Centers location and your line of credit is approved—which you will know almost instantly—you can use it immediately.
Is Sanford Health financing this?
We facilitate the application process and financing for you on behalf of CareCredit, a national healthcare credit company, which is a unit of General Electric/GE Capital. Once your account is approved, you can use it to make purchases for yourself and your family. The credit is specifically designed to pay for healthcare expenses not covered by insurance—including co-payments and deductibles. You will receive your credit card and invoices from CareCredit and be able to pay your balances by check or money order via mail or online at carecredit.com.
If approved, under this interest-free plan, each month you only need to pay the minimum monthly payment. The “no interest if paid within 12 months” offer applies only to single-receipt/single transaction qualifying purchases made on your CareCredit credit card account. A minimum purchase amount may be required. No interest will be assessed on the purchase if you pay the purchase amount in full within the 12 month period. If you do not, interest will be assessed on the purchase from the purchase date. If the account becomes 60 days past due, the zero interest may be terminated early, accrued interest will be billed and regular account terms would apply. Regular account terms apply to balances not paid within 12 months. All credit, interest and/or fees charged, if any, credit policies therein, etc. issued for this program are by CareCredit, a healthcare credit card specifically designed to pay for hearing aids and supplies not covered by insurance.
