No. Walk-in services are designed for urgent problems. Physical exams, check-ups and other routine care should be scheduled with your primary care physician. If you do not have a primary care physician, we recommend any one of our Sanford Health primary care physicians within family medicine, pediatrics, internal medicine or OB/GYN.

Do I have to be a Sanford Health patient to use walk-in?

Definitely not. The Sanford Bemidji Walk-in Clinic will treat you, your child or anyone else you bring in. Please bring along the appropriate health insurance information. If you are in a managed health care plan, please check your coverage to see if a referral from your primary care physician is needed.

Do I need an appointment?

No appointment is necessary. You will be seen on a first-come, first-served basis unless another patient arrives with a more urgent or severe condition that requires immediate attention.
