Our specially trained physical therapists teach you the skills and provide the knowledge needed to effectively improve your bladder health.

Strategies include:

  • Biofeedback, a painless technique for learning to strengthen and control pelvic floor muscles, which are responsible for supporting the bladder
  • A home exercise program to keep your pelvic floor muscles strong
  • Education on lifestyle and diet changes to improve bladder health
  • Bladder retraining
  • Address and correct behaviors that can interfere with bladder health, such as weak core strength, back pain, poor lifting techniques and straining with bowel movements (constipation)
  • Ask your doctor if physical therapy is right for you.
