Visitor restrictions have been implemented at Sanford Medical Center in Bismarck due to an increase in respiratory related illnesses.
Due to the sustained increase in respiratory illnesses in the region, Sanford Medical Center in Bismarck is implementing hospital visitor restrictions. Sanford is placing these restrictions in order to protect patients and employees from catching and spreading respiratory illnesses.
Beginning Jan. 24, Sanford will restrict visits. The restrictions will limit visits to:
- Patients’ immediate family members over the age of 12 as long as they aren’t showing signs of respiratory illnesses.
- Children under 12 will not be allowed to visit patients
Sanford would like to thank the public for their willingness to help avoid the spread of illnesses. These visitor guidelines begin Jan. 24 at Sanford Medical Center in Bismarck, located at 300 N. Seventh St. and will stay in place until further notice.
