Sanford Thief River Falls Breaks Ground on New Medical Center

Sanford Health breaks ground for new Thief River Falls Medical Center

Thief River Falls(Thief River Falls, MN) – Today Sanford Health will break ground for the new Sanford Thief River Falls Medical Center. The 137,000 square foot medical center will centralize care for patients, with clinic and hospital services conveniently located on one medical campus.  Nor-Son, Inc. has been named the general contractor for the $60 million construction project, which is expected to be complete by fall 2014.    

“This project illustrates Sanford Health’s delivery on a promise made to the Thief River Falls community and for the people throughout northwestern Minnesota,” said Chris Harf, CEO, Sanford Thief River Falls.

The project includes the building of a new, 25-bed critical access hospital with birthing units, intensive care beds, emergency rooms and operating rooms. Services include dialysis, behavioral health, chemotherapy, radiology, surgery, lab, family medicine, obstetrics & gynecology, pediatrics, cardiac rehabilitation and nutrition.
