Broadway Medical Center and Sanford Health Complete Merger

(Alexandria, MN) – Broadway Medical Center in Alexandria, MN and Sanford Health based in the Dakotas announced they have signed a definitive agreement, the final step in the merger process.Three months ago the two organizations announced a letter of intent; this move culminates the merger effective Jan. 1, 2012.

Broadway Medical Center will now be known as Sanford Health Broadway Clinic. It has a total of 25 physicians and advanced practice providers and over 100 staff in Alexandria with a satellite clinic in Parkers Prairie, MN. Medical services include: endocrinology, family medicine, general surgery, hospitalists, internal medicine, OB/GYN & midwifery care, oncology and podiatry.
