Sioux Falls, SD and Fargo, ND – This spring, four area colleges/universities held Dance Marathons that raised thousands of dollars for children who need medical services. These student-led fundraising dance marathon events support Children’s Miracle Network in their local area. All of the money raised stays local to support area children and families.
Concordia College Dance Marathon, Moorhead, MN: This was Concordia’s first dance marathon. Together, students danced and raised $3,032 for Children’s Miracle Network in Fargo, ND. The event was held on Saturday, March 19.
South Dakota State University Dance Marathon, Brookings, SD: Held on March 19 and 20, South Dakota State University students raised almost $35,000 for the cause during their 10th annual Dance Marathon.
University of South Dakota Dance Marathon, Vermillion, SD: The University of South Dakota held its 14th annual dance marathon March 26 and 27 and brought in more than $51,000. The USD Dance Marathon which started in 1998 has raised more than $330,341.
Augustana College Dance Marathon, Sioux Falls, SD: For the first time since 2005, Augustana students danced to raise money for children who need medical services. The Augustana Dance Marathon on April 2 raised more than $10,000 for Children’s Miracle Network in Sioux Falls, SD
