Annual Radiothon Raises Thousands for Local Children

36 Hour Event Benefits Sanford Children's Hospital

(Sioux Falls, SD and Watertown SD) – Listeners from the Watertown area came together to help children fighting devastating illness and disease by supporting the 11th annual radiothon on KDLO, KS93 & KSDR. A total of $70,017 was raised for Children’s Miracle Network and Sanford Children’s Hospital during the 3 day event which was held April 13 – 15. That tops last year’s donations of $67,000.

“Sanford Children’s Hospital and Children’s Miracle Network is lucky to have such generous donors,” said Amy Sumner, program director, Children’s Miracle Network. “We are so lucky to be supported by communities like Watertown and their willingness to support area children and their families.”

All proceeds raised through Children’s Miracle Network go directly to programs and services for Sanford Children’s Hospital pediatric patients and families.

Sanford Children’s Hospital in Sioux Falls, SD joined the Children’s Miracle Network team in 1986.
