(Fargo, ND) – Listeners from the Fargo-Moorhead area came together to help children by supporting the 11th Annual Cares for Kids Radiothon. A total of $143,588 was raised when Children’s Miracle Network at Sanford Children’s Hospital in Fargo teamed up with Radio Fargo-Moorhead during the 36 hour radiothon event February 16-18. Hosts from Bob95 (95.1FM), Y94 (93.7FM) and Popster (104.7FM) were live on the air from Sanford Children’s Hospital in Fargo, ND. Broadcast hosts interviewed doctors and staff of Sanford Children’s Hospital in Fargo and shared the inspiring stories of area children and their families.

Sanford Children’s Hospital in Fargo became the North Dakota’s only Children’s Miracle Network Hospital in 1985 and is dedicated to the ideal that every child is unique, every diagnosis is different and every situation is special. One hundred percent of funds raised stay local to help local children.
