(Sioux Falls, SD) – Cancer is a devastating disease, especially in children. It dramatically changes the lives of entire families and alters their childhood experiences. That’s why Sanford Children’s Hospital and Results Radio are teaming up once again for the 4th Annual Results Radio Cure Kids Cancer Radiothon. Last year’s event raised more than $161,000 and this year hopes are even higher.
The event which aims at helping kids fight cancer is being held March 23 – 25. During the 36 hour event, hosts from MIX 97.3, KIKN Country 100.5, B102.7, Hot 104.7 as well as KSOO 1130 and KDEZ 100.1, will broadcast live from the Carlson Great Hall at Sanford Children’s Hospital.
Tune in to listen March 23 – 25 from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. as families call in or stop by to share personal and heartfelt stories about how their lives were changed by Sanford Children’s Hospital. Station hosts will also talk with doctors and staff. The radiothon is also available online on MIX 97.3, KIKN Country 100.5, B102.7 and HOT 104.7.
Broadcast hosts will introduce listeners to the following Cure Kids Cancer Heroes and their courageous families.
