Annual Radiothon Raises Record Amount to Benefit Sanford Childrens

36 Hour Event Raised Money for Children's Miracle Network

(Sioux Falls, SD) – On October 13-15 Sanford Children's Hospital was transformed into a live remote location for "36 Hour Radiothon for Kids" where a record $128,480 was raised to benefit Sanford Children's Hospital Children's Miracle Network.

The live broadcast was hosted by KTWB 101.9 morning show hosts, Chris Carter and Doc Murphy; KELO-FM 92.5 hosts, Tom Gjerdrum and Melissa Barclay; along with Q95.7's Big Scott Allen and the Cartwright Brothers. Each day, they shared stories of Miracle Children from around the region, their families and staff at Sanford Children's Hospital.

Sanford Children's Hospital joined the Children's Miracle Network team in 1986. As a Children's Miracle Network hospital, Sanford Children's Hospital stands dedicated to the ideal that every child is unique, every diagnosis is different and every situation is special. 100 percent of funds raised stay local to help local children.
