Fifth Annual DQ Miracle Treat Day Celebration to Benefit Children

(Sioux Falls, SD) – Sanford Children’s Hospital’s fifth annual DQ Miracle Treat Day will be held Thursday, August 5 to support Children’s Miracle Network (CMN). Participating Dairy Queen and DQ Grill & Chill locations from around the region will donate proceeds from the day’s BlizzardR sales to Children’s Miracle Network. A celebration in Madison, SD will feature Miracle dad Greg Hanson and the Backroads Band as well as MOB (Madison’s Only Band), and returning Christian Country musician Andy Gibson will perform in De Smet.

“Last year we sold nearly 50 thousand BlizzardsR and raised more than $115,000,” said Julie Briggs, CMN Development Officer. “Miracle Treat Day is an opportunity to benefit the services provided by Sanford Children’s Hospital, the region’s only Children’s Miracle Network hospital—an opportunity that this community steadfastly supports.”
