Thirty-six hours on the air, more than 30 hero stories and hundreds of thousands of dollars donated to fight childhood cancer. The third annual Results Radio Cure Kids Cancer Radiothon was a huge success, raising more than $161,000.

Sanford Children’s Hospital and Results Radio joined forces in March, broadcasting live from the Carlson Great Hall of Sanford Children’s Hospital. This year’s hosts were on the air from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. all three days of the Radiothon event. The 2010 hosts included Ben & Patty from MIX 97.3, Dan Collins & Mickey Lee from KIKN Country 100.5, Crash from B102.7, Chad McKenzie from KSOO 1140 and Jeff Harkness from KDEZ 100.1.

All proceeds raised through Cure Kids Cancer go directly to programs and services for Sanford Children’s pediatric cancer patients and families. The mission of Cure Kids Cancer is to help children’s cancer centers, like the one at Sanford Children’s, find life-saving treatments and eventually cures for children’s cancer by raising funds and awareness.
