Teachers Throw MeritCare NICU Baby Shower

On Tuesday, Apr. 13 at 4 p.m., Alpha Delta Kappa (ADK), a teacher's organization developed through Fargo Schools, will hold a baby shower for the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU).

On Tuesday, Apr. 13 at 4 p.m., Alpha Delta Kappa (ADK), a teacher's organization developed through Fargo Schools, will hold a baby shower for the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU).

The group of teachers will donate baby gifts to the NICU medical staff, which will later be given to NICU babies. The teachers will also serve cake and coffee.

MeritCare Children's Hospital NICU is the leading medical facility in the region providing neonatal intensive care. With state-of-the-art equipment and numerous neonatal specialists, the NICU cares for more than 400 infants per year.

Alpha Delta Kappa was founded in 1947 and is an international organization of women educators dedicated to educational excellence, altruism and world understanding. This is the second year they have hosted the NICU baby shower at MeritCare. Their contributions help to provide great support for families in need.
