Certified nurse, Cynette Wipf understands pain. “My dad died three years ago and I remember him being uncomfortable and in pain. I was determined to learn and provide better pain management for my patients.”

That began this Sanford oncology nurse’s quest to become nationally certified in pain management. With the support of a Sanford certification review course, Wipf took a national exam and became specialized in pain management.

“Certification has made a difference in helping me understand the disease process; I feel I am better able to educate my patients. I also feel more confident in my decision-making.” Wipf is also certified as an oncology nurse.
