Sanford Westbrook employee Alice Osland has reached a milestone held by few Sanford Health employees. She is a 50 year employee. In 1960, as a young Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), she joined the healthcare team at the Henry Schmidt Memorial Hospital in Westbrook, MN which is now Sanford Westbrook.
Continuing her work as an LPN in the hospital, Osland began working part time in the housekeeping department in 2003. A year later, she started working with Shetek Home Health as an LPN. In 2008, Osland gave up her nursing duties in the hospital, but she continues to work in housekeeping and home health.
“Alice is very committed to the success of the organization; willing to step in to help wherever she is needed,” said Stacy Barstad, Sanford Westbrook CEO.
