FDA Approves Asfora Bullet Cage

A spinal implant developed by Wilson Asfora, MD with Sanford Clinic Neurosurgery & Spine has received United States Food and Drug Administration (FDA) 510(k) market clearance.

A spinal implant developed by Wilson Asfora, MD with Sanford Clinic Neurosurgery & Spine has received United States Food and Drug Administration (FDA) 510(k) market clearance. Called the Asfora Bullet Cage, the device is used for fusion surgeries which treat degenerative disc disease.

Dr. Asfora said, “the 510(k) clearance of the Asfora Bullet Cage represents the culmination of a decade of clinical research.”
