A summer storm of Blizzards blew across the region for Miracle Treat Day benefiting Children’s Miracle Network (CMN) at Sanford Children’s. For the fourth year, participating Dairy Queen and DQ Grill and Chill locations donated proceeds from every Blizzard sold on August 13 to CMN. CMN is a non-profit organization dedicated to saving and improving the lives of children by raising funds for children’s hospitals.
Madison, SD was a hub of activity for Miracle Treat Day where DQ owner DeLon Mork once again sold a record number of Blizzards. For the fourth year in a row, he sold more than any other location in North America. This year, he and his staff sold 18,017 Blizzards. Nathan Osmond, a second generation musician from the famous family, joined South Dakota musicians Andy Gibson and Greg Hanson for a special concert in Madison. Osmond also visited other area participating DQs and Sanford Children’s Hospital to help with the event.
