Sanford Health Adds Team to Develop World Clinics

A new leadership team will assist in the selection, development and operation of Sanford World Clinics.

(Sioux Falls, SD) – A new leadership team will assist in the selection, development and operation of Sanford World Clinics. These new Sanford Children’s Clinics are part of the initiatives outlined after a $400 million donation to Sanford Health from Denny Sanford in 2007.
 

Jim Slack - Vice President, Sanford World Clinics

Jim Slack is responsible for the Sanford World Clinic organization and all locations including site selection, development, operations, recruitment, facilities, clinical and financial business components in building successful, sustainable world clinic services. Previously, Slack was the Director of Clinical Research for Sanford and was Director of Clinic Operations for Van Demark Orthopedics at Sanford. He also has been the Senior Vice President of Marketing and Credit Operations at General Electric/Dillard National Bank in Gilbert, AZ. He has more than 25 years of operations and business management experience. Slack received his bachelor of science degree in business management and administration from The University of South Dakota in Vermillion, SD.
 

Eric Larsen - Director, Sanford World Clinics

Eric Larsen’s duties include the successful selection, development, and operational establishment of the new Sanford World Clinic locations. These responsibilities to include management/oversight of all world clinic locations implemented. Larsen has more than 30 years experience in retail management and franchising, including experience in marketing, finance, human resources and business development. He is a Fargo, ND native and has a business administration degree from Concordia College in Moorhead, MN.
 

Richard Gillespie - Director, Sanford Children’s Clinic Duncan

Richard Gillespie joins Sanford as the Director of Sanford Children’s Clinic Duncan. He is responsible for the operation and direction of the new clinic in Duncan, OK. Previously, Gillespie was Director of Physician and Clinic Services at Comanche County Memorial Hospital. He received his masters in business administration at Cameron University in Lawton, OK and is now a professional member of the American College of Healthcare Executives, the American Association for Respiratory Care and the Oklahoma Society for Respiratory Care.
