(Sioux Falls, SD) – The Sanford Children’s now provides predictable same-day access for children age 15 and under with fractures, limps, infections or other urgent bone related concerns. The Sanford Children’s Bone Clinic offered by Sanford Clinic Orthopedics & Sports Medicine under the direction of Geoffrey Haft, MD is a dedicated clinic for urgent pediatric orthopedic problems. The clinic is designed to be a simple, reliable access point for patients and their families.
“If a patient suffers an injury after-hours that does not require emergent orthopedic evaluation, parents can feel confident having the injury splinted and then going to the Sanford Children’s Bone Clinic the next morning,” said Dr. Haft.
Dr. Haft or one of his partners will evaluate each patient and manage the fracture or other orthopedic issue. All follow-up care is arranged at the Sanford Children’s Bone Clinic.
