Sanford Childrens Clinic Duncan to Host Grand Opening Celebration

(Sioux Falls, SD) – Children in the Duncan, OK area will soon have more pediatric healthcare close to home. The new Sanford Children’s Clinic Duncan will open August 3 and bring the community its first pediatricians. It is the first Sanford World Clinic, which is part of initiatives outlined after a $400 million donation from Denny Sanford in 2007. Sanford Children’s Clinic Duncan is designed like a castle, emulating the design of the Sanford Children’s Hospital in Sioux Falls, SD. To celebrate the new clinic, Sanford Children’s will host a community celebration on July 14.

Celebration Activities Include:

  • Tours of the new children’s clinic guided by clinic staff
     
  • Inflatables and kids activities with light refreshments provided 
     
  • Arts and crafts, a puppeteer and storytelling entertainment provided by local renaissance club, Society for Creative Anarchism 
     
  • Hailey Steele acoustic concert (4:30 p.m.)
    Hailey Steele is a rising country artist from South Dakota. Hailey and her band have opened for superstars like SugarLand, Sara Evans and Big and Rich.
     
  •  Ribbon cutting sponsored by Duncan Chamber of Commerce (5 p.m.)
     
  • Guest Speakers from Sanford Children’s Hospital
