Almost all media outlets that have covered Chris' story have asked to talk with his wife, Emily. While we fully expected to receive these requests, Emily has made the decision to interview with one media outlet, with the expectation that the interview, in its entirety, be shared with all other media outlets. The interview will take place tomorrow, Wednesday, Feb. 25, at 10 a.m., with Valley News Live-TV 4/11.
- If you'd like a DVCPro copy of the interview, please contact Jerimiah Moerke, news director, at email@example.com. Media outlets will have to go to Valley News (1350 21 Ave. S., Fargo) and pick up their copy. Copies are expected to be available by 1:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The video will also be uploaded on to the Valley News FTP site; contact Jerimiah for login and password information.
- The interview will also be available via MPEG-3 file; if you'd like this to be e-mailed to you, please contact Jerimiah. E-mails are expected to go out by 1:30 p.m.
- Still photos will be available at news.meritcare.com by approximately noon on Wednesday; photos will be taken by MeritCare's photographer.
- If there is a change in timing regarding the availability of the above items, MeritCare will send out a news release with this information.
We have received some requests to interview Chris. While we have talked with Emily about this, at this time, Chris will not be granting interviews; he may consider doing so in the future. Emily said today that Chris' sense of humor is continuing to shine through; he has been teasing her that she should cuddle with him in his hospital bed.
