- Today Chris Dewey remains in critical, but stable, condition at MeritCare Hospital's Critical Care Unit.
MeritCare will be holding a news conference today at 12:45 p.m. to give an update on the condition of Mahnomen Co. Sheriff's Deputy Chris Dewey. Dewey was injured in a shooting yesterday in Mahnomen, Minn.
Dr. Robert Sticca, MeritCare general surgeon, will give an update on Dewey's condition. Dewey's father-in-law Ross Boulden, from Princeton, Minn., will also be available to speak on behalf of the family.
