The event will be a celebration of nursing, past and present, and is part of MeritCare's centennial celebration.

On Friday, Aug. 15, St. Luke's Hospital School of Nursing (1908-1987) will be holding its all-school reunion at 4:30 p.m. at the Holiday Inn in Fargo. The event will be a celebration of nursing, past and present, and is part of MeritCare's centennial celebration.

Interview possibilities:
  • Evelyn Knudson, RN - The school of nursing existed from 1908-1987. Nurses are attending the event are from the class of 1938 and beyond. Evelyn, who is now 90 years old, is from the class of 1938 and is the only one from her class who will be attending the event. After graduation, Evelyn worked as a nurse in Wadena, Minn. - where she lives today.

  • Ev Quigley, RN - Ev started at MeritCare (then St. Luke's Hospital) in 1965 as a nurse in radiology. She later served as the director of nursing and is now senior vice president of community benefit.
