MeritCares 23rd Annual Parents Fair to be Held Saturday March 8
Dr. Peters has specialized in treating children, adolescents and families for the last 30 years. Her focus is teaching parents how to control difficult children, dealing with attention deficit disorder, and handling nutritional, weight and lifestyle issues as well as how to motivate kids to reach their academic potential. Dr. Peters is the author of numerous books on parenting and is currently a contributor to NBC's Today Show.
The other speaker sessions range from topics on infant/toddler brain development to Internet safety. Anyone involved in caring for children is invited to attend - moms, dads, prospective parents, grandparents, teachers, day-care providers and health care professionals.
The event is free and open to the public. Free parking is available and free day care will be offered for 1 to 6-year-olds by the United Child Care Providers Association at Bridgetown Daycare, 321 Fourth St. N, on a first-come, first-serve basis.
