MeritCare Partners With Forum in Get Fit Challenge

MeritCare is partnering with The Forum in the Get Fit Challenge which will allow readers to follow along as three individuals work to improve their health and fitness. Weekly interviews will give readers tips on fitness and the participants will blog about their experience on in-forum.com. The three participants were selected from a group that applied to The Forum.

MeritCare is partnering with The Forum in the Get Fit Challenge which will allow readers to follow along as three individuals work to improve their health and fitness. Weekly interviews will give readers tips on fitness and the participants will blog about their experience on in-forum.com. The three participants were selected from a group that applied to The Forum.

MeritCare exercise physiologist, Rory Beil and Linda Bartholomay, MeritCare registered dietitian, will work one on one with the individuals to help them improve their health and fitness.

Want to join the "Get Fit" participants in their journey to better health?

Attend a community kick-off from 6-8 p.m. Feb. 19 at MeritCare Lifelong Fitness Center 2400 32nd Ave. S.

Staff from MeritCare's Sports Medicine and Nutrition Services will conduct tests including a body composition assessment, a cardiovascular assessment and a personal health/balance survey. Registration is required. The services are free and available only to the first 30 people who sign up. To register, call (701) 234-8750 by Friday (Feb. 15).
