MeritCare Eye Center Public Grand Opening

On Wednesday, Nov. 14, from 5-7 p.m., MeritCare Eye Center will be holding an open house for the public at 1717 University Dr. S., Fargo. The open house will offer tours, and refreshments will be served. The center houses optometry and ophthalmology services, an optical shop, a LASIK suite and two new operating suites.

On Wednesday, Nov. 14, from 5-7 p.m., MeritCare Eye Center will be holding an open house for the public at 1717 University Dr. S., Fargo. The open house will offer tours, and refreshments will be served. The center houses optometry and ophthalmology services, an optical shop, a LASIK suite and two new operating suites.

"This clinic provides patients with improved access and convenience to meet all of their eye-care needs," said Dr. Thomas Strinden, managing physician partner, MeritCare Eye Center. "We are excited to have this clinic to provide patients with specialized eye care in one location."

Additional information:
  • The clinic is located across from MeritCare South University and is a renovation of 12,000 square feet of space and opened in May 2007.
  • MeritCare will continue to provide optometry services at MeritCare Southpointe, 2400 32nd Ave. S.W., Fargo.
  • MeritCare will no longer offer eye services at the Professional Building.
