Youth Enrichment Services (YES) of Sioux Falls announced today that it has received a donation from Sanford Health to help provide childcare at 57th Street and Western Avenue in Sioux Falls.

Youth Enrichment Services (YES) of Sioux Falls announced today that it has received a donation from Sanford Health to help provide childcare at 57th Street and Western Avenue in Sioux Falls. Recently, YES approached Sanford about the opportunity to collaborate, and Sanford Health committed a $1.5 million gift.

The donation allows YES to purchase the facility at 57th and Western (formerly Busy Bees). The facility will be named River Crossing Child Care Center and be open to the public. YES is excited to welcome all families currently using the facility at 57th and Western. In addition, the Sanford Childcare program will transition to the new River Crossing facility on September 10, 2007.

“We are very grateful to Sanford Health,” says Youth Enrichment Services CEO Karen Fogas. “Because of this generous donation, Youth Enrichment Services will be able to serve additional families in the area. We look forward to working with families currently using the facility at 57th and Western, families from the Sanford Childcare Center and families who may use this facility in the future.”
