The entry fee is $100 and includes a box lunch, green fees, golf cart, treats from Dairy Queen, dinner at the Moorhead Country Club and chances for prizes. All proceeds will go to MeritCare Children's Hospital.
The schedule is:
- 11:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. - Registration, tee assignments and lunch
- 1 p.m. - Shotgun start
- 6 p.m. - Dinner and awards
With over 50 pediatricians and pediatric specialty doctors, including pediatric critical care and neonatology, MeritCare Children's Hospital offers the region's most comprehensive specialized care for infants, children and adolescents. The children's hospital completed a $5.1 million renovation in January 2006 and is now comprised of a 22-bed general pediatric unit, a six-bed pediatric intensive care unit, and a 32-bed neonatal intensive care unit. Donations and fundraising events, such as the Children's Golf Classic, made the renovation possible.
