Sanford Clinic announced today that it plans to bring a new Children’s Clinic to the Aberdeen community. During a press conference in Aberdeen, Sanford announced that it plans to lease space in the new United Clinic physician’s building.
United Clinic’s new building which is set to open July 23, 2007 is approximately 57,000 square feet. Sanford Children’s Clinic will occupy approximately 3400 square feet of the building. In addition to the leasing of space, it was also announced today the Julie Mayo, D.O. will now provide services for Sanford Children’s Clinic.
Dr. Julie Mayo, a long time Aberdeen pediatrician, will be the lead provider along with her experienced pediatric staff. Dr. Mayo is formerly a member of the Aberdeen based United Clinic and will house her practice in their new clinic currently under construction.
United Clinic Executive Director Paul DeVoe stated, “Dr. Mayo is a great fit with Sanford Children’s Clinic. She is a highly regarded pediatrician who has advocated for strong primary care services for many years.” He continued, “We see her Sanford affiliation in our clinic as a terrific way for United Clinic to work side-by-side with her and her Sanford colleagues to deliver top-tier children’s healthcare.”

Pulmonary – Matt Lundien, MD
Rehabilitation – Julie Johnson, MD
