Children's Miracle Network at Sanford Children's Hospital wrapped up their Celebration Weekend on Sunday evening, June 3, 2007 with a record breaking check presentation for 1,042,565!
The weekend's events began on Saturday, June 2 with the Second Annual Bikes & Babes Rally for Miracles. The Rally was a success despite the rain with nearly 175 riders participating and 425 riders, miracle families and guests attending the Post Ride Bash picnic and concerts. On Sunday, over $116,000 was raised during the telethon that was broadcast live on KELOLAND TV thanks to generous donors from the region calling in their pledges to make miracles happen for kids.
The Celebration Weekend could not be possible without the dedicated volunteers for Children's Miracle Network. Over 350 volunteers shared of their time and talent to make the weekend memorable. It was another record breaking fundraising year for CMN, and gifts are still trickling in from the weekend.
