This November, over 240 schools in South Dakota, Minnesota, and Iowa will receive two copies of I Can Be a Nurse and I Can Be a Doctor for free. These fun and factual curriculum-based books are for young readers who will grow up to be everything from doctors, lawyers, or CEO’s to the people next door.

Sanford Children’s and Dr. LeeBurton share three core beliefs: readers make the world a better place, great readers start early, and the best way to engage a young reader is by making great books available to him or her.

More children’s books are planned in 2007 to be distributed to area schools.
