MeritCare Childrens Announces Alfunz Coloring Contest Winners

During the Grand Reopening of MeritCare Children's, children participated in a coloring contest to get to know Alfunz, one of the characters in the Village of Laffalot. The following child artists were selected from the many entries. Each child will be contacted to claim his/her prize.

The interior and exterior remodeling of MeritCare Children's is complete. Thank you to everyone for joining us to celebrate the grand re-opening of the first and only stand-alone clinic in North Dakota designed exclusively to serve the needs of children. Detroit Lakes Minn. Artist, Hans Gilsdorf, has once again worked his magic expanding his vision from the Children's Hospital Village of Laffalot to the children's clinic. Designed to help children heal, the warm, colorful and whimsical design helps put kids at ease and makes doctors appointments seem a little more like a curious trip to a fairy tale land.

MeritCare Children's Southwest continues to provide general pediatric medicine, and it is also home to the region's only Children's Walk-In clinic where no appointments and extended hours make it easier for busy parents with sick little ones to get the care they need, when they need it.
