Thursday, October 12th
- Saturday, October 14th
marked the first KTWB 32 Hour Radiothon for Kids, held in the Locken Lobby of Sioux Valley Hospital USD Medical Center. KTWB 101.9FM Genuine Country morning show hosts, Chris and Jillian broadcast live from the hospital, sharing stories of the Childrens Miracle Network Miracle Children, their families, and the staff that care for them at Sanford Childrens Hospital.
Over $70,000 was raised through the 3-day event, and affiliated programs, including Raiders of the Loose Change, and Casual for Kids. KTWB listeners, local businesses, and community members rallied together to raise the funds that will assist the Childrens Miracle Network in their mission to serve area children, and enhance pediatric healthcare.
As a Childrens Miracle Network hospital, Sanford Children's Hospital offers the region's most comprehensive healthcare services for children. Leading edge technology, specially trained medical professionals and a vast array of services help meet the multiple medical needs of patients and their families. We extend our thanks to the many listeners who pledged their support, the fantastic staff at Backyard Broadcasting, and the many Miracle Families who allowed us to share their stories.
