CityWide Casual for Kids Day

Mayor Munson has proclaimed October 12, 2006 Children’s Miracle Network Miracle Maker Day for the City of Sioux Falls.

Mayor Munson has proclaimed October 12, 2006 Children’s Miracle Network Miracle Maker Day for the City of Sioux Falls. The KTWB Radiothon for Kids will be kicked off on this historic day, and in conjunction, the Radiothon team is calling for a city-wide Casual for Kids Day.

Casual for Kids is a program that allows participating schools and businesses to dress down for a good cause. Participating institutions will receive "Casual for Kids" stickers that can be purchased by employees/students, allowing them to wear jeans or approved casual wear for the day. The price is set by the institution (at no less than $1) and the proceeds benefit CMN, a non-profit organization dedicated to saving and improving the lives of children by raising funds for Sanford Children’s Hospital. Though we are officially celebrating the city-wide Casual for Kids Day on October 12th, this is a community event that can continue all year long with weekly/monthly casual days.

As the region’s only Children’s Miracle Network hospital, Sanford Children’s Hospital offers the region’s most comprehensive healthcare services for children. Leading edge technology, specially trained medical professionals and a vast array of services help meet the multiple medical needs of patients and their families.

Sanford Children’s Hospital is the regional hub for children’s healthcare with the ability to meet the multiple medical needs of thousands of children each year and is the only facility in the region to offer a vast array of specialized children’s healthcare services.
