Children's Southwest Grand Reopening
A very special place just for kids
Saturday, Sept. 23, 2006
10 a.m. - 2 p.m
Bring the kids and celebrate with us at the Children's Southwest Grand Reopening. We'll have a big tent outside with lots of fun and games.
MeritCare is pleased to announce the grand re-opening of MeritCare Children's Southwest. The interior and exterior remodeling is nearing completion and we can't wait to show you the first and only stand-alone clinic in North Dakota designed exclusively to serve the needs of children. Detroit Lakes Minn. Artist, Hans Gilsdorf, has once again worked his magic expanding his vision from the Children's Hospital Village of Laffalot to the children's clinic. Designed to help children heal, the warm, colorful and whimsical design helps put kids at ease and makes doctors appointments seem a little more like a curious trip to a fairy tale land.
MeritCare Children's Southwest continues to provide general pediatric medicine, and it is also home to the region's only Children's Walk-In clinic where no appointments and extended hours make it easier for busy parents with sick little ones to get the care they need, when they need it.
